Terrace awnings are specifically designed to provide shade and overhead cover to be located over patio or decking areas. They do not have to be fixed to an adjacent wall. This allows these specialised awnings to be located away from the house to provide for example, a shaded seating or dining area. They are self supporting requiring steel posts to be installed into the ground or on to the patio or deck (syncra/uno fix). Can also be free-standing with weighted boxes to be placed wherever you like (syncra/uno flex 2). The syncra awnings contain two individual awnings otherwise known as Butterfly awnings and the syncra uno for one individual awning.

Markilux syncra fix — The awnings frame system with square-shaped support posts for two folding-arm awnings. Stylish protection from the sun and the vagaries of the weather catering for large areas. Also available with the Markilux Pergola 100/200.

Markilux syncra uno fix — The awnings frame system with square-shaped support posts for one folding-arm awning. The Markilux syncra fix is the solution for those houses where the customer either does not want an awning to be installed or it is simply not possible to do so. Also available with the Markilux Pergola 100/200.

Markilux syncra flex 2 — Stable, free-standing awning frame with attractively shaped aluminium posts showing exceptional purity of design. The boxes, weighted for stability, can be decorated in your own individual style and can be put to many uses.

Markilux syncra uno flex 2 — The practical awning stand for one folding-arm awning. Can be placed wherever you like. The alternative to face fixture. The boxes, weighted for stability, can be decorated in your own individual style and can be put to many uses.

• Strong steel frame for two folding arm awnings.
• Awnings and frame are powder coated in the Markilux standard RAL colours (Special RAL colours available on request at extra cost)
• Awnings operated manually with a stainless steel winding handle (electric or radio control options available on larger size awnings at extra cost) 
• Awning cover made from sunsilk perla FR, waterproof and flame retardant (other designs from the Markilux collection are available on request)
• The seams of the awning cover are ultrasonically bonded
• Also available as coupled units in syncra fix version
