Are the screws to attach the holder to the wall included ?
No, the Paraflex holder can be attached on different kinds of materials. Wood, bricks, concrete … Therefore the screws are not included. Your local DIY dealer can advise you on the type of screws to use.
Are there umbrella’s available in bigger sizes ?
No, for the comfort of use, an umbrella needs to be light, this is also a major advantage in windy conditions. Depending on the position of the sun, the flexibility of the umbrella system allows you to create the shadow where you want it,. therefore you don’t need the traditional “big” umbrella.
Can I install the Paraflex myself ?
Experience has shown us that over 90% of buyers can install the umbrella system themselves. Your standard toolbox and drill is all you need. Detailed installation instructions and an installation movie can be found on this site (section downloads).
Warranty ?
The consumer gets a two year warranty on the Paraflex holder. A description of the warranty conditions is included in the package.
Can I change my standard Paraflex holder into a King-Size Holder ?
No, one should carefully consider before making a choice on the type of holder.
Can I wash the umbrella fabric ?
Yes, the fabric is easily washable but please follow the washing instructions.
Can I change the umbrella fabric ?
Yes you can. Paraflex offers every year limited editions in trendy colors. You can have a new trendy umbrella every year at a very low cost. Changing is easy.
Is the Paraflex holder weather proof ?
Yes, you can leave the holder outside year in, year out. The holder is made from Aluminum and Stainless Steel, the clamp is made out of glass fiber enforced polyamide, we do however urge you to store the cover indoors out of season.
How wind fast is the umbrella ?
As the most fragile element of the umbrella system is the fabric, you shouldn’t use the umbrella in stormy conditions. When heavy winds are forecast the umbrella should be closed stowed in its cover.
